Parenting a child with disabilities/special needs can be isolating and lonely. Families of typically developing children are often unable to relate to the experience of parenting a child on a different developmental course. The opportunity to share with others who can relate to your experiences can be tremendously affirming and validating.
I am currently seeking individuals who are interested in participating in a group with other parents and caregivers of children with disabilities/special needs. Please contact me to be added to the waiting list. I will be in touch as soon as we have enough parents and caregivers to form a group.

For those who are able to find consistent childcare in order to attend a group.
Recognizing that finding childcare and getting out for one’s own activities can be difficult for many people, a virtual support group will allow you to participate from home.
